Mogadishu, October 01, 2022;H.E President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has today led government officials in performing funeral prayers for the slain Banadir Police Commissioner Brigadier General Farhan Mohamud Aden ‘Qarole’ at the Presidency Mosque, Villa Somalia.
The President eulogized the late Farhan Mohamud Qorole as a martyr who sacrificed his life to protect his fellow citizens and liberate his nation from the terrorists.
“Today, the Somali people have one common enemy who they must unite against in both wisdom and strength. It is nonsensical for us to tolerate their heinous acts. Each and every Somali has the solemn duty to play part in the war against terrorism.”
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud further issued a stern warning to businesspeople involved in funding Alshabaab terrorists terming such acts of financing terrorism as collaborating in the conspiracy plots to cause loss of innocent lives of the Somali people, and the government would not accept such.
Finally, H.E Hassan Sheikh sent his condolences to the family, relatives and the entire nation following the painful loss and prayed to Allah to give them patience and strength and make Jannatul Firdowsa, the deceased’s final abode.
