Mogadishu, December 31, 2022; The President of the Federal Government of Somalia H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud signed into affect the 2023 budget that was voted in favor by the Federal Parliament of Somalia.
The president highlighted the increase in the national budget and thanked the Ministry of Finance and experts on Somalia’s economy for preparing the national budget based on the country’s needs, prosperity, rebuilding of the armed forces and the liberation of the country.
The President of the Republic commended both houses of the Federal Parliament of Somalia for carrying out the constitutional duties bestowed upon them for the new national budget.
