The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held a successful meeting with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Amir Mohamed Binu Salman Abdulaziz
Amir Mohamed Binu Salman welcomed the success of the Somali government in its fight against the Khawaarij and the sacrifice of the Somali National Army in collaboration with the people of Somalia to rise up from the reign of terrorism. Furthermore, he expressed how they’re prepared to fully support the government and people of Somalia.
On his part, president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud commended the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their support and solidarity with the people and government of Somalia, with the president highlighting that the Federal Government of Somalia will prioritize strengthening their relations internationally.
Furthermore, the meeting between both leaders came to the conclusion on the strengthening the relationship and collaboration between both countries, peace in the region and shared interests that the people of Somalia and Saudi Arabia both share.
