Washington DC, December 15 2022; The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, while participating in an event held at the White House met with his American counterpart, president Joe Biden.
The president shared the current situation of Somalia and the fight against the terrorism with senior U.S. officials and diplomats, with the president bringing fourth the joint effort between the Somali National Army (SNA) and local populace to eradicate the Al Shabaab terrorists within their midst.
The President of the United States commended the military operations in Middle Shabelle and Hiiraan, which showcased the resolve and abilities of the Somalia government and its people to eradicate terrorism, and the continued support for the Federal Government of Somalia.
