Mogadishu, December 31, 2022; The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud gave sincere condolences to the family, relatives and religious scholars and the wider Somali nation over the passing of Sheikh Ismail Mohamud Egal.
The president brought up the Sheikh’s religious efforts to spread our beloved religion of Islam and to protect our sacred religious ideology, with the president hoping that the Sheikh will be granted his final home in heaven.
“Every soul shall taste death. I give condolences to Sheikh Ismail Mohamud Egal, may Allah have mercy on his soul. He was a prominent religious that spent much of his life spreading Islam.
